Elena Orluk focuses on intellectual property matters including patent, trademark, and copyright. Her experience includes advising on the most sophisticated intellectual property issues and know-how activities. Ms.Orluk has been collaborating with UNDP and OSCE Working Groups in the development of the legislative framework in the sphere of IP. Since 2005, Elena has been the director of the Institute of Intellectual Property.
Ms. Orluk also practices banking and finance law and is regularly engaged by the Ukrainian parliamentary committees, the National Bank of Ukraine and other regulators. Elena handles complex local and cross-border financings and regulatory banking matters. Elena lectures at the Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University Law School. She is the author of numerous treatises and publications, including commentaries to the Ukrainian Budget Code and the Civil Code.
